HUGE THANK-YOU TO OUR PACK
Thank you for your great participation in the Thanksgiving food drive. We collected 195 lbs. of food, along with $136 for the food shelf. What a difference our Scouts made!
HEALTH FORMS – DUE NOW!
All Health Forms (found in your orientation folder) are DUE NOW! Please turn these in to your Den Leaders or bring to the December Pack Meeting and turn in directly to Marc Johannsen – Camping Coordinator. Thank you in advance for helping our Pack stay in compliance with these forms.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Do you want to help Pack 437 but aren’t sure how?
Please consider the many options: activities coordinator, librarian, photographer, webmaster, district activities, newsletter coordinator . . . Many positions will be vacated next year as the Web II Scouts advance to Boy Scouts. Now is the time to shadow a position. Your involvement will be greatly appreciated.
Some positions involve ongoing Pack support while others are one-time event support positions.
Contact any Committee Leadership member for questions – we are happy to share in this rewarding experience.

FACEBOOK GROUP: Just search Pack 437 on Facebook. Ours is the one with OLE after it. It’s a private group so you’ll have to request to join it or be invited. I’ll try to get reminders & events put on there – Pack meetings, deadlines, camping, etc.

TROOP 494 LOCK-IN
Pack 437 has been invited to join Troop 494 at their annual Lock-In. All cubs are invited to join them for the eveing. Webelos II are invited to stay overnight. Make note of the following information if interested:
What: Troop 494’s Annual Lock-In Event
Who: Registered Scouts and Cubs
When: December 12-13, 2009
Time: 8:00 p.m. – Midnight
(Webelos II until 5:00 a.m.)
Where: Shoreview Community Center
Why: To Have Fun!!
Cost: $30 per Scout/Webelos II staying overnight.
$15 per Cub Scout staying until midnight
$5 per Adult
PINEWOOD DERBYStart Your Engines!
Registration and distribution of Pinewood Derby cars will be done at the December Pack Meeting at 6:15 PM – prior to start of meeting.
Registration and car fee is $5 per racer – Cash or check to Pack 437.

LEADERSHIP MEETINGS
The monthly Leadership meetings are an important time where plans and activities for our Scouts are organized. Our next meeting is scheduled for Thurs. 1/7 from 7-8:30 in the OLE Teacher’s lounge. Start the New Year out by checking one out for your Scout!
